How to Generate Blog and Presentation Illustrations with AI

The failure mode is a deck where every slide looks as if it came from a different model. Define a visual system before generating any final image.

Workflow

1. Extract the concepts that genuinely need visualization. Decorative images do not improve a factual argument.
2. Write a visual brief covering palette, medium, line weight, perspective, people, exclusions, and aspect ratios.
3. Produce three direction boards in Midjourney, Krea, or Adobe Firefly. Approve one.
4. Generate the full set with the same references and settings. Keep negative space where headlines or charts will sit.
5. Place, crop, and caption in Canva Magic Studio or the final slide tool.

Review

Illustrations beside factual claims inherit factual risk. A generated map, interface, laboratory setup, or product diagram can look authoritative while being wrong. Label conceptual art when necessary and use real charts or screenshots when precision matters.

Store the brief and references with the project so later updates match the original visual language.
