What Factory Droids do well
Factory treats orchestration as a first-class product problem. Developers can work with an agent directly, while organizations can define broader Missions and connect the platform to engineering systems. The multi-surface approach also makes it possible to monitor work away from the original terminal session.
Where it falls short
The larger the Mission, the more important its milestones and evaluation gates become. A plan that is too broad can run for hours while compounding a bad assumption. Self-serve plans publish prices and relative rolling limits, but do not promise a fixed number of completed tasks. Size a pilot around accepted changes and review effort.
